About Dr. Mitchell Steele, D.C.

Dr. Mitchell Steele was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. For most of his youth, he played hockey learning the values of teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship. During his time playing hockey competitively for St. Francis High School, he developed a significant case of pelvic dysfunction making the simplest tasks such as walking difficult. Eager to return to the sport he loves, Dr. Steele began treatment with the nearest Chiropractor. After only a few treatments, he was able to resume playing hockey. For the remainder of his high school athletic career, he continued to receive regular adjustments to help prevent future injuries.

Fascinated with the unique benefits received from chiropractic care, Dr. Steele graduated from St. Francis High School and enrolled directly into a rigorous combined course study, eventually graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic from D’Youville College.

While attending chiropractic school, Dr. Steele developed  techniques in Diversified, Activator, Thompson, and IASTM (instrument assisted soft-tissue mobilization). During his internship, he split time between University at Buffalo Neurosurgery and Erie County Medical Center, treating trauma accidents, complex preoperative and postoperative spinal surgery patients, sport related injuries, and wellness care.

After graduation, Dr. Steele made the decision to leave his hometown area of Buffalo, moving to sunny Florida in 2019.  Dr. Steele loves weekend pool days with his family, and has a deep passion for fishing.
